The Bowman Body

The Bowman Body (played by Bill Bowman) was a horror host whose show Shock Theater aired on WXEX from 1970 to 1976.
Bowman eventually left WXEX for Charlottesville's WVIR, and brought the Bowman Body character with him for Cobweb Theatre, which aired from 1977 to 1979.
Still later, Bowman worked at WNVC in Northern Virginia, where the Bowman Body appeared on Monsterpiece Theatre during the 1980s.
