The Strawberry Hill Races are an annual set of horse races at Colonial Downs in New Kent County, VA.

The 77th running of the Strawberry Hill Races is scheduled for Saturday, April 11th 2009. Gates open at 9:00 A.M. and the first race post time is 1:30 P.M.
The event will be broadcast on 88.7 FM.

No race-day tickets are being sold and there is no Will Call at the track. The races are held rain or shine.
[edit] Traditions and Attire
The races are traditionally a formal affair. Men are encouraged to wear sport coats and/or ties and women wear dresses and hats. In the infield, slacks and sun dresses are preferred. Jeans, t-shirts, and shorts are discouraged.
The theme for 2009 is Casablanca.
