RichmondWiki.org was launched on June 23, 2008 as a resource for the greater Richmond, VA metropolitan area. The site was created by Andrew Miller as a community-oriented and community-built information source. The inspiration for RichmondWiki comes from ArborWiki, a community resource in Ann Arbor, MI.
