Eugene "Gene" Cox is a Co-Anchor for NBC 12's weekday news programs at 4:00pm, 6:00pm, and 11:00pm. Cox graduated from Marshall University in West Virginia in 1965.

In 1997, Cox published a fictional story entitled "The Sunset Lounge". The plot involves a murder mystery set in a Richmond TV newsroom. [1]
