ASK is a local non-profit dedicated to making life better for children with cancer and their families.

ASK provides assistance, support and kindness through many programs and activities. ASK funds three full-time positions at VCU Medical Center's ASK Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic: child life therapist, chaplain and psychologist. ASK also organizes support groups, holds social events for patients and their families and offer financial assistance to families in need. ASK offers a preschool program for youngsters in treatment and a fitness program in conjunction with the YMCA of Greater Richmond. ASK organizes educational workshops and conferences for patients, families and survivors of childhood cancer.
