Wikipedia for Journalists and Bloggers

Mark Dilley Steven Walling from AboutUs.org put together a great presentation for journalists and bloggers on how to appropriately, effectively, and intelligently use Wikipedia as a resource.

I think one of the opening slides sums it up the best:

“Wikipedia will give you the questions you should ask, not the answers.”

The slides are embedded here (full screen mode is best), although the full blog post gives more background info that is worth exploring. If this topic interests you, check out the Digital Journalism Camp in Portland in August 2009.

[Update 5.26.09 replaced Mark Dilley with Steven Walling]
