RichmondWiki.org was just updated to MediaWiki 1.13.3 to include some new security patches. All is well and our server seems to be lumbering along as fast as the tired little hamster can manage.
Tangential Thought
If you had told me in college that just a few short years later I’d be updating websites at 10:30 on a Saturday night, I would have said you are crazy and gone back to the bar for another beer. If you had told me I’d be married to a dentist working on her masters degree research I would have said, “Well, now that updating servers part makes sense.”

Awesome that you upgraded and that everything is working well.
Any differences with the wiki that you’ve discovered that had any impact on your community? Or that you’ve run into as a contributer?
The upgrade from 1.13.1 to 1.13.3 was easy and I didn’t encounter any problems. Back in September I upgraded from 1.12 to 1.13.1 and ran into a few hiccups, which I posted about here.
After each upgrade I run through the basic login, editing, and admin functions to make sure nothing is broken. So far, so good. The MediaWiki site has a great upgrading manual that make it easy. Well, easier…
