Trying a new approach: anticipating and creating content for seasonal events. I couldn’t find a single resource for Richmond haunted houses so I created one on RichmondWiki. Hopefully people will find it and contribute if there are any I missed.
Articles like this can become a permanent running list of local events related to a holiday or specific event. With Halloween only 10 days away, it’s probably a little late to get the page to rank well in organic search results but we’ll try. At least it will be there for next year and have more time to get noticed and receive more user contributions.
What other ideas do you have for seasonal articles? Maybe Richmond Thanksgiving and Christmas traditions, a list of food donation dropoff points/food banks, etc? Somebody take that idea and go with it!
